The Homestead in Corbett (Uttarakhand) doesn’t seems like a homestay. It feels more like a luxurious resort. This Himalayan homestay is one of the best properties to pamper yourself with Spa, swimming pool, gymnasium, Turkish steam bath and its vast expanse of grounds. Not only this, you may also indulge in activities like bullock cart ride, ATVs, trampoline, nature walks, camping, fishing and many more.
The Bangala in Chettinad is a heritage property which dates back to 1910. Earlier, it was only used to entertain VIP guests from the East India company and other famous personalities. But in 1998, in order to preserve this heritage property, the owners converted it into a homestay. And if you are traveling to the South of India, then I would surely suggest you to stay there even for a night as we found it one of the best homestays in south India.
